圣诞欢歌英文读后感 篇1

A Christmas Carol is a very short but very influential novel, its appearance made people love it at that time, it is also a classic Dickens himself highly recommended.

I have read this novel three times, and every time I read it, I feel that it is truly a classic. The short length, the wonderful plot, the concise language and the witty words are all vividly reflected in this novel. When I first saw the first subtitle, "Marleys Ghost," I thought it was a thriller. Read it to know that the original novel is divided into the beginning of the article, the appearance of three ghosts, the end of the story five parts, and the plot is not afraid, but you will find a lot of interesting places. Scrooge, the hero of the novel, is a very interesting character. He is the epitome of a real life type of person, and a series of words are synonymous with this type of person, sour, mean, mercenary and so on. There was nothing else in Scrooges life except that saving money was making money, and it seemed to him that nothing could make him happier than making money and not spending it. Reading these places, I really tremble in my heart, such a person does not smile with anyone, never communicate with others sincerely, and never accept the kindness of others, always think that others value only his money, and want to get a fortune from him. For a short time, he can live in this personal spiritual world, but for a long time, wont he feel that life will be overshadowed? I really admire him for being able to enjoy such a lifestyle. In Dickenss description, you can see how terrible and pitiful he really is: "The poor never ask him for money, the children never ask him the time, and even the dogs always go under the porch when he comes." What an irony! What was most abhorrent was his ability to say, "There are too many people in the world, so it would be good if some of them died." If such a person were in the modern society, he would surely become the target of public criticism. You have to have no conscience to say something like that. One of my favorite and most ironic sexual lines in the whole novel is "Darkness is cheap, so Scrooge likes it best." Its really good, and it makes his mean, contemptuous nature look so funny.

At first, Scrooge doesnt believe Marleys ghost or what he says to her. It wasnt until he actually saw the first ghost that he began to believe and act afraid. The first two ghosts took him through his youth, his youth, and his present state. From the perspective of a bystander and a retrospector, Scrooge saw himself in the past, saw that he was not what he is now, and saw the happiness that he did not grasp, and he shed sad tears. He tried to avoid seeing these scenes, but the ghost still let him go through the past scenes exactly. Seeing this, it is not difficult to see that, in fact, Scrooges nature is good, but with the passage of time and social changes, the social status quo of capitalist society at that time made him become this state - miser. After seeing the second ghost, Scrooge really felt more and more afraid. He knew that the next ghost would show him his future self. He desperately wanted to get help from the ghost, but the ghosts cold attitude frightened him. After seeing a series of scenes and then seeing his own grave, his heart cooled, he knew that his future would be such a tragic death, very sad, no one cared about how he died, all felt that he deserved to die. He was terrified, and he kept turning to the ghost, saying that he had reformed and would change and do good to others. With a tearful face and fear, he returned to real life, and he was more happy than a doll to see that he was not dead, but still in real life. He immediately changed his life condition, being kind to people, helping the poor, being kind to friends and family, no longer caring so much about money. And on Christmas Day did a lot of good things to make others and themselves happy, and had a very happy and happy Christmas.

圣诞欢歌英文读后感 篇2

This story represents a very original forces, the boss is very stingy done in a Christmas dream, then he changed his views and see how to use their money to help others, charity! I hate that mean the original owner, since he has so much money, but not always help others. Although money is very important, to live in this world money is totally unacceptable and if the money can live a life on, let the world, more people happy, they should spend the money to, because it values.

Fortunately, the boss wake up later, the others will be happy to know the truth themselves happy to help a disabled child, for their family and their assistants together after a happy Christmas!

圣诞欢歌英文读后感 篇3

A miser so selfish, mean, stingy, a miser so ignorant of charity and love for others, I cant help but spit at any time when I see such a figure. But after watching A Christmas Carol, I couldnt help but give him the thumbs up.

His name is Scrooge.

True to his name, he is stingy with money and does not care about others. Even on such a merry day as Christmas, he insisted that his clerks work overtime without any increase in pay. If it were not for the ghost of the dead Marley, his partner, he would never have realized that he should be a kind and loving person. Like many stingy corporate owners in society, they want their workers to do more work, but they cant spare a penny. The factory went on strike for debt collection, and he left. Workers dont get paid anyway. Money is the lifeblood of those bosses. You take their lives away from them. What do they do? Although most of the money is the workers hard-earned money, but he can live as an ignorant child, rob other peoples toys, refused to let go, but also insisted that it is his. With such a childish man to ask for wages, you can only become as childish as him, or even if his great mother appeared, he would not let go. Because he is where he is today, in part, thanks to his great mother. He would like to believe that his mother always stood up for him. Therefore, I sympathize too much with the millions of migrant workers in the city. Thats why I hate a blood-sucking boss like that. So I was glad to see the ghost of Marley.

The ghost of Marley said, "Every man should let his inner soul move among men, and travel in all directions; If his mind does not go outside while he is alive, it must be punished to do so after death. It will be destined to wander all over the world - oh, how bitter! - and to see with his own eyes what he could have shared in his life, and found happiness in it, he is not entitled to share now." Thats a very contrite thing to say from Marley. When he is alive, he does not know how to understand the sufferings of the world, but only knows how to count his purse, and such a person will not have peace even after death. His soul must accept Gods punishment, wandering about without rest, tired and repentant! Unfortunately, it was only after his death that he had such an opportunity to know his fault. For many people in society, "not concerned about the high" is no longer a new phenomenon. "Dont worry about the snow on your own door." This is also deeply rooted in the Chinese cultural tradition. No wonder humanity is so cold and heartless in todays society.

As long as I think of the cold and heartless human nature, there is a face deeply printed in my mind. She is Little Yueyue, the child of a hardware store owner in Foshan. I dont know what she did wrong, and I dont know what God was doing -- why so many passers-by were blind! How can they not see a living life crying helplessly and dying under their wheels! Compared with the hurried wheels, peoples indifference can crush a persons life and soul. A dozen people passing in front of and behind the camera! I do not criticize you, I just pray that there can be a thing like Marleys ghost, perhaps called little Yueyue ghost to awaken your conscience and love, so that you can also see the past, the present and the future of their own, from now on no longer embrace a kind of luck and watching the psychology, but with a lovers heart, let good deeds take root and sprout!

Scrooge fulfilled his promise and became a good man. He has done many things, known for good; And did some other little things that nobody knows about. God bless him! Instead of spending the rest of his life alone in his money cellar, he would go out into the streets, into the alleys, to help those he could. How I wish such a miracle could happen to people like Scrooge. Is there any way to make them feel the joy and worth of helping and giving to others? Oh, I really cant help it. So my heart was happy and excited for Scrooge, but worried and frowning for the millions of Scrooge.

How to be a person who understands love and has love is definitely not achieved by simply carrying out ideological education or creating a certain social atmosphere. Scrooges transformation is because of the guidance of Marleys ghost and three ghosts, he can clearly see his innocence and kindness in the past, can see his indifference and selfishness in the present, and see his tragic end in the future. Anyone in a situation like that, it touches the softest part of their heart. No one wants to see their future death so sad and bitter. So, to take a chance, not to repeat Marleys mistakes, he made the switch. But for people in society, it takes a longer time and memorable events for them to become truly loving people. Maybe its a movie, maybe its a TV show, maybe its a book, maybe its a song, maybe its someone who has played an important role in his life. We can no more set a standard than we can extradite Marleys ghost to the present day. But Im sure "A Christmas Carol" is one of those books.

Reading a book will not make you instantly rich, intelligent or beautiful, but it will make you compare and think about todays society and people. Constantly thinking, so that they do not rust their brains, so that they lose the original ability and desire to love, and so that they do not become like Scrooge. I hope that when I meet someone like Scrooge, I can introduce him to this book and tell him to be a loving person.

圣诞欢歌英文读后感 篇4

If you suddenly had the opportunity to see your past, present, and future clearly, would you live as you do now? -- inscription

Ebenezer Scrooge, the hero of A Christmas Carol, is a rich, mean, stingy, grumpy old miser. He hated all holidays, even Christmas, which everyone loved. "Bah! What a lie!" he said. Christmas is a lie! Everyone who walks around saying Merry Christmas should have their tongues cut out. Yes, thats the way it should be!"

Scrooge treated everyone equally -- equally mean and unkind, from his nephew to his only employee, Bob Cratchit. He paid Bob only fifteen shillings a week and was very demanding of him.

Such a disgusting old man was visited on Christmas Eve by three spirits: the Spirit of the past, the Spirit of the present, and the Spirit of the future. On New Years morning, he transforms from a miser into a kind, tolerant and passionate philanthropist, all because of the magical journey the ghost takes him through...

Scrooge was led by the spirit to see his own childhood, youth, old age, and all that would happen to him when he died. It was this that made Scrooge realize the error of his ways, and become a completely different man.

Scrooges childhood was unhappy, and this misfortune somewhat affected the course of his life. As a child, he was alone even at Christmas, suffering from cold, hunger, and sadness, which indirectly led to his later aversion to Christmas. For everyone, childhood experiences are the key to determining the future. Small trees always have to take root and stand firmly in the initial growth stage before they can grow into big trees. If the tree is bent when it is still a sapling, it will be difficult to grow straight in the future. It is best to begin to exercise ones character in childhood; it is more difficult to change it later.

Scrooges youth was a period of change from good to evil. When he was a child, he was an innocent child, but the misfortune of life made him see the cruelty of the world too early. And in his youth he had dreams and he had love, but later his excessive interest in money made him mean and mean. He didnt care about anything but his career, his business, his money. Making money is addictive and there is no limit to desire, so when you have some wealth, be content instead of constantly wanting more. This was Scrooges mistake. When a man has endless desires and needs for money, he becomes cold and heartless, and sees nothing but money, and nothing but a money-making machine.

But the Spirit of the future showed Scrooge that something worse was to come. His death did not bring sorrow to others, but joy and happiness. These scenes awaken Scrooge and he decides to change his future by being as kind and happy as possible and thinking more of others than of himself. For some people, does seeing their future motivate them to change the way they live now? Maybe something terrible about to happen to them will scare them and make a change. But does that really work? People who smoke may not know that lung cancer is waiting for them, but will they quit for this reason? Thieves also naturally know that if they continue to steal, waiting for their own will be prison, but they will be reformed because of this? We do not need the Spirit of the future to help us see the consequences of something, because the consequences of many things are obvious, but people ignore them or avoid them with luck. Knowing the consequences and still take the risk, can only show that the desire is at work. Who hasnt been in the mood to do bad things? Its just that some people act on it, and some people resist the temptation. Think not to do and think also to do, just a difference.

Although the spirit of the past, the spirit of the present and the spirit of the future in the novel do not exist in reality, we do not need ghosts to take us to see, we should often reflect on the past, analyze the present and look into the future. Look at your past experience, current situation, if you do not change, and what will be the future. By the end of the novel, Scrooge has become a kind, cheerful old man who also rescues Bobs sick son, Tiny Tim, and he changes the future by changing himself. Of course, the future cannot be changed directly, "yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, only today is a gift." Yesterday is a bridge to help you understand yourself, and tomorrow is unknown. What really matters and is really useful is today! Live in the present moment, but occasionally think about the past and the future, which can help you better understand how to live today. When you find that the present is not as good as the past, and the future will be worse, quickly change! Like Scrooge, its never too late to change.

When you hear the beautiful Christmas carols in your ears, dont forget to stop and think about what happened this year, what you have learned, what needs to change, and how to plan for next year. If you change your life now, your future will change, too. Your future is up to you, and your future is up to the present.
