in autumn, they got a little pot of fat. the cat told the mouse, “let’s hide it in the church, but we can not touch it until we need.”

just after a few days, the cat wanted that fat. so she told the mouse, “my cousin just has got a child, i shall be godmother, so i should go out today, can you take care of the house?”

every time when the cat wanted the fat, she would find this excuse, and when she was back, the mouse would ask about the child’s name, she named the first child “top off”, the second child “half gone” and the third child “clean gone.”

though the mouse can not understand the mane, but she believed the cat.

when winter came, the mouse remembered the fat in the church, she said to the cat, “ let’s go to the church and have our fat.” but when they got there, the mouse could only find the empty pot.

“ now i know everything. you’re a real friend to me, first you ate the top of the fat, then the half of it, then……”

“be quiet.” said the cat, “ one more world and i will eat you up.”

“clean gone” was just on the poor mouse touge and the cat ate her.
